Honesty erasing anything risks unravling a lot more. History’s kind of tangled. But if we are thinking hypothetically. I do learn towards events that caused massive irreversable human suffering, like the transatlantic slave trade. But even then the ripple effects touch everything after. So the real question might be, can we learn without erasing.
